Zulu Cultural Village and the Reptile Park
In the Zulu Cultural village you learn about the reptiles of Southern Africa. The chance to see Ramesis, a 90-year-old Nile crocodile has been a big highlight for guests as well as the numerous snake species kept at the Reptile Park.
You will have a chance to explore the Craft Shops within the village before continuing on to the Zulu Cultural Village experience where we will enter the traditional Zulu Cultural Village, an authentic village run by the Gaza family.

Tala Game Park, Lion Park & Valley Of A Thousand Hills

Duration: 5-6 hours
We visit Phezulu to experience local Zulu culture, the crocodile and snake parks. Thereafter we travel along the Valley of 1000 Hills to Tala Game Park. Here you can view Giraffes, Rhino, Hippo, Antelope and other animals including many forms of bird-life. Thereafter, we visit the Lion Park before returning to Durban/Umhlanga.

This full day tour includes PheZulu Cultural Village with three wildlife reserves, the Natal Lion Park, the Africa Raptor Center and Tala Game Reserve to create a very popular tour, The tours first stop is the Natal Lion Park which is home to a variety of wildlife including Lion, African and Asian Elephants as well as Rhino.

The guide will drive around the park in search of the Elephants before entering the Lion’s enclosure to marvel at the pride of Lions. You will visit Tala Private Game Reserve to view the big 4, Valley of 1000 Hills after that you will be taken into a traditional Zulu homestead to experience what traditional Zulu life was like before the modern era. Inside a traditional Zulu homestead there are thatched huts placed in a circular position, with the cattle, After PheZulu Cultural Village and Reptile Park the tour proceeds back to Durban.
